When you purchase the EMSPowered MR2 Engine Lid Fan shroud kit with fans, we include a relay with pigtail incase you need it. There are many different ways to wire up the fans. You can wire them to turn on and off using a switch in the cabin on your dash. You can wire them up to a temp sensor to turn on and off at certain temperatures. You can wire them up to a switched power source to have them turn on and off when the engine turns on/off. You can also wire them up to a standalone engine management computer and program how/when they turn on and off. Amongst several other options as well.
